Skeetch “Loose Thoughts”

Skeetch “Loose Thoughts”

WRITTEN BY MILLIE TURNER

For fans of Sum 41, Sugarcult and Blink 182, Skeetch is the next band to listen too when having a moment of teenage angst, whether you are a teenager or not. Based out of Leipzig, Germany, the skate punk band consists of vocalists Max Schlegel (he/him), guitarist and vocalist Tom Kühnel (he/him), bass guitarist and vocalist Markus Ackert (he/him) and drummer Richard Meyer (he/him). The single will be available on their first debut album that will be released later this year on Punkerton Records.

“Loose Thoughts” is for the overthinkers, which we can relate to from time to time. Schlegel describes the single as “...a tribute to all the daydreamers out there and a reminder of how important it is to lose yourself in your thoughts, whether to spark creativity or escape negativity. It’s also about questioning everything whether it is your past, your choices, and the “what ifs” of life. What if things had turned out differently? What if everything changed? With a touch of humor, these lyrics are meant to make you reflect on your life while also reminding you not to take everything too damn seriously.”

The single features vocals with a rebellious flare and ever moving melodies played on guitar. If you need a song to rock too while stressing about work, school or just life in general, Skeetch has your back. You can listen to “Loose Thoughts” on all streaming platforms. If you are interested in listening to their first debut album, make sure to look for updates on their Instagram, Facebook and www.punkertonrecords.com.
