Swami & The Bed of Nails released their band’s new album All Of This Awaits You on August 2nd. It was produced by Swami John Reis and mixed by Ben Moore, where the album emerged from a Hot Snakes writing session as a tribute to Reis’s late bandmate Rick Froberg.

The nine-track album opens with “How Are You Peeling?”, introducing listeners to their distinctive garage punk sound and lyricism. This explosive song explores what lies underneath a heart’s surface. Each song on the album carries a nostalgic tone. My favorite track is “Teen Hate”, which transports you back into a time where you’re hanging out with your friends and simply enjoying the present moment. They’ve also released a couple of music videos from this album that contain innovative visuals that compliments their uniquely explosive sound. It showcases the band’s flair for a compelling, unconventional artistic vision and offers something special for those who appreciate original concepts.

“The importance of noise and the deep need for me to connect with the language and culture of music and song might be the most meaningful thing to me of all,” Reis says. “But, I have zero expectation of my music having any importance to others. My pursuit is a personal relationship. As I continue to ‘grow’ (get older), I’m even less patient with explaining myself, my intentions, what I am thinking and feeling and what it all means.”

Swami & The Bed of Nails have created a connection through these songs for anyone who has a passion for punk rock and embraces a distinctive sound that packs a punch. For those fortunate to catch them live this October, they’ll be promised a raw and explosive experience from their music in the fullest form.
