Turn up the volume, grab a dance partner, and have a good time listening to Hurri Haran’s new single, “Love Me”, featuring Vontee the Singer. Haran explains, “Last year Vontee and I got cool, we spoke about linking up to record a few times and eventually when the time was right, we were able to meet up and create this track. The perfect way to end the summer."
Hurri Haran is an upcoming hip-hop artist who finds love in combining hip hop and R&B. He grew up in East New York, where his father’s work as a DJ would inspire his interest in music. In high school Haran began creating music—he released “Beyonce” in 2023, leading to his discovery and signing with Arista Records.
What makes this song unique is its blend of R&B, with island-inspired drums, creating a distinct vibe. It allows everyone to move their hips along to the rhythm. I also appreciate Haran’s flow; it reminds me of Lil Tecca. Haran has a good range of sound, and I can see his father’s influence peeking through. “Love Me” is too fun NOT to make a music video—I can only imagine its aesthetic being just as vibrant as the song. Experience Haran and Vontee the Singer’s vibes for yourself by watching the recently-released visualizer to “Love Me”.
